The Shelby County Health Department is committed to providing our community with the most accurate information about Coronavirus Disease 2019, known as COVID-19.

The data provided below reports on total confirmed COVID-19 cases, test performed, active and inactive/recovered cases, total deaths and positivity rate in Shelby County.

Please note, this data is meant to provide a rough estimate of testing volume in Shelby County.  This data is preliminary and subject to change. 

Shelby County COVID-19 Case Counts 

Beginning July 1, 2022, the Shelby County Health Department will report county-level COVID-19 data points on a weekly basis.  Weekly updates will be posted each Wednesday and will cover the previous Sunday - Saturday, in alignment with the Tennessee Department of Health’s data reporting.

Results of Tests Performed contains our data for the number of tests performed on the persons in each category of result. An individual may receive multiple tests with varying results; this table counts every test once.
