The Core Measures set organizes 16 indicators into four domains. The findings from the indicators in each domain are summarized below. A fifth domain is also included that was chosen by a group of community-based stakeholders.

Safety and Violence Prevention
Representatives from government agencies and community-based organizations in Monterey County chose to add a fifth domain, Safety, to the Core Measures set for Monterey County.
From a list of ten items, Monterey County residents ranked gang violence as the top safety concern in their county.
