Walking Information

Walking is one of the best ways to get active and stay active. Research shows that walking can lower your risk of several chronic diseases. American Heart Association recommends that adults get 150 minutes (30 minutes, 5 times a week) or more of moderate-intensity physical activity or 75 minutes (25 minutes, 3 times a week) of vigorous activity each week.
